Professional Certificates are generally the first two units of a Graduate or Undergraduate Certificate and provide you with solid introductory knowledge, as well as contributing to the higher degree should you wish to continue studying later. Professional Certificates are a good way of upskilling quickly and providing you with an opportunity to start your education journey at a discounted fee.

If you only complete the first two units, Swinburne is ensuring that you still receive a qualification by awarding you a professional certificate.
