Humans of Swinburne Online: Grace’s Story

Grace

At the ripe young age of 24, Grace has achieved… well a lot. She’s grown a successful company, competed in MasterChef, and is now an official alumna of Swinburne Online.

It goes without saying that Grace already had a lot on her plate before she applied to study for a Bachelor of Business (Marketing). So, we had a chat to see how she did it.

Priority number one: Nurture the future.

When it comes to the game of life, Grace seizes every opportunity. It’s the key to the success of her and her husband’s business, Main Ridge Olive Company.

When I left for MasterChef, it was a really big decision to weigh up whether going on the show was going to benefit our business or not.

And as an ambitious woman, it was her go-getter attitude that drove Grace to enrol in a business degree with Swinburne Online. She knew that studying for a degree would give her the confidence to cultivate and expand a successful business.

No moving trucks needed.

Grace lives in one of the most beautiful places in Australia, the Mornington Peninsula. With its rolling hills and luscious olive groves, it’s simply gorgeous. Thankfully, Grace didn’t need to leave her farm to study with Swinburne Online. She could learn from the comfort of her home with a stunning view.

Online study. Real-world benefits.

Although Grace was studying online, the skills she gained were 100% real-world certified. It’s something that Grace is grateful for. She often finds herself thinking ‘thank god I sat down and listened to those lectures’ because it’s helped her tackle any challenge head-on.

Swinburne Online equips you for the future and really builds the confidence within you.

New degree. New chapter.

Grace has already achieved a lot but she’s just getting started.

Graduating was such an amazing feeling, it felt like a huge accomplishment getting to stand up on stage and get my certificate and know that I’m ready to take this into the real world.

Your future awaits.

Balancing life and study can be difficult, but it’s worth it. It’s something Grace couldn’t recommend enough.

I think if anyone is thinking of enrolling with Swinburne Online, my advice would be – go for it!

When you study with Swinburne Online, you’ll get all the flexibility and support you need to thrive. So, what are you waiting for? Start your next chapter and apply for a Bachelor of Business now.
