About this unit
This unit aims to familiarise students with literacy in the Primary Classroom. Students will consider the planning, teaching and assessing of all aspects that comprise literacy – reading, writing, speaking and listening – and relate this to the Australian National Curriculum standards for English. The concept of multiple literacies will also be weaved into all aspects of this unit, highlighting its presence in 21st century learning.
