About this unit
In this unit, students learn about the nature of effective leadership as well as a range of issues related to the management of early childhood settings. These issues include the social and political context within which these services operate, financial management, systems administration, strategic planning, human resources management, team building and professional and organisational growth. There is a particular focus on the crucial role of effective communication in leadership in education settings. This unit enables students to acquire and extend skills and knowledge to work effectively with others in leadership and management positions.
