On successful completion of this Course students will be able to:

  • Critically analyse cybersecurity in an organisational context, that respects organisational goals and needs, other individuals and the need for privacy
  • Apply knowledge to the interrelated social, technical, legal and ethical issues involved in the exploitation of computer technology
  • Critically review and evaluate the current literature on emerging topics within cybersecurity management and apply knowledge, research principles and methods to plan and execute a piece of independent research in cybersecurity management
  • Apply knowledge and skills to demonstrate autonomy, expert judgement, adaptability, and responsibility as a practitioner or learner in the cybersecurity area

Course rules

To qualify for the award of Graduate Certificate of Cybersecurity Management students must complete 50 credit points comprising of:

  • Four (4) core units of study (50 credit points).

Volume of Learning

The Graduate Certificate of Cybersecurity Management consists of a total of 4 units (50 credit points). Units normally carry 12.5 credit points (cps). A standard full-time load comprises four (4) units (50cp), and a standard part-time load comprises two (2) units (25cp). The volume of learning of the Graduate Certificate of Cybersecurity Management is typically six months full time or part time equivalent.

Maximum Academic Credit
