What are the main differences between online, on-campus and distance education?

At Swinburne Online, our online education method just requires students to have access to a broadband connection! Students can log in to their online environment to access their course, whenever and wherever it is convenient for them. Traditional on-campus education requires students to attend lectures and tutorials at a venue at a given time.

Distance education often requires a number of different communication modes and can sometimes involve the sending of printed material to a student’s residence.
