Ben’s new direction with a Bachelor of Psychological Sciences

As a busy parent, Ben found it difficult to make time for himself and invest in his own future. However, when he started studying a Bachelor of Psychological Sciences with Swinburne Online, he found some much-needed motivation and direction.

Studying online and studying psychology were both new experiences for Ben, but he welcomed the challenge as he threw himself into this exciting new chapter.

With studying being very much like following a new path, it gives me a lot of options to experience new things and enjoy new things along the way.

Ben loved exploring his life-long interest in people and what makes them tick, and the convenience of online learning meant that he didn’t need to take any time away from being a great dad. He was even able to apply some of his new skills and knowledge when parenting his young daughter.

What I like about the course content is that it gives me insight into relationships and people, human behaviour and everyday life, which is really beneficial for me being a parent.

As Ben progresses through his course, he is now excited for what the future might hold for both him and his daughter. On completing his course, there are a number of career pathways that Ben is interested in exploring.

In the end, I could become a psychologist, go into HR or marketing, research. There’s so many options with a psychology course, and I’m going to be able to choose something that I really feel passionate about and makes me happy.

If you think a Bachelor of Psychological Sciences could allow you follow your passions, give us a call on 1300 110 146, or apply now.
