Credits from previous study

Exemptions are credits from previous study that reduce the number of units you need to undertake to complete your chosen course.

If you have previously completed a qualification anywhere in the world, such as a degree or a diploma equivalent within the last 10 years, you may be eligible for some exemptions.

Based on the nature of your previous study, we will assess your eligibility for exemptions when you apply, with reference to the Australian Government Department of Education and Training guidelines.

To determine whether you are eligible for exemptions, all you need to do is submit an academic transcript and the details of your previous study with your application. If you are deemed eligible for exemptions, you will then need to provide certified documents as proof of your previous study.
