About this unit

This unit aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge, attitudes and skills to enable them to critically analyse the theories of global logistics management and to apply these theories to model alternative approaches to solving global logistics and supply chain issues. This unit particularly focuses on the application of global logistics and supply chain processes to the government, non-government (third sector) and private sector organisations. An ancillary aim of this unit is to equip students with appropriate competencies to innovatively apply global logistic theories to improve company profits, alleviate human suffering and protect the planet simultaneously.
