About this unit

In this unit, students focus on the dimensions of curriculum and effective teaching of children aged between 2 and 5 years. They undertake a supervised professional experience in an early childhood education setting with children aged 2-5. Students engage in active, careful and critical reflection on their observations and experience and practice a range of strategies and roles involved in teaching young children.

Age Group: 2-5 years of age
Duration: 20 days
Minimum Attendance: 35 hours per week or 7 hours per day. Must include 5 hours contact time with children and 2-3 hours of planning or non-contact time per day
