Diploma of Nursing

The Diploma of Nursing 25 units, and will see you undertake the following studies:

  • 20 core units
  • five preferred elective units.

Implement and monitor care for a person with mental health conditions

Apply nursing practice in the primary health care setting

Apply principles of wound management in the clinical environment

Implement and monitor care for a person with acute health problems

Reflect on and improve your own professional practice

Implement and monitor care for a person with chronic health problems

Apply a palliative care approach in nursing care

Confirm physical health status/Analyse and respond to client health information

Provide first aid

Interpret and apply medical terminology appropriately

Research and apply evidence to practice

Manage personal stressors in the work environment
