What are the entry criteria?

To gain entry into this course, applicants must meet the following entry criteria:

  • Have completed a bachelor degree in business, IT or engineering

OR

  • Completion of five years relevant work experience to enter into the Graduate Certificate of Project Management, which is the first four units of the Master program.

Overview of the course

The Master of Project Management provides students with expertise in project management across a range of industries. You gain the knowledge, skills and conceptual understanding necessary to apply project management principles to project work. Additionally you will learn to address resource management, risk management, business analysis and strategy.

This degree teaches you how to manage project teams, how to work in human resource management and change management and helps you understand budgets and organisational behaviour. You will also develop problem-solving skills and learn how to establish and communicate innovative solutions to a range of audiences.

You will learn how to create and communicate professional project plans dealing with complex business problems, support organisational change and respond to ethical issues.
