Overview of the course

Delivered by Swinburne Online on behalf of Swinburne University of Technology RTO 3059, a Diploma of Business Administration (BSB50415) will give you the skills to coordinate projects across any workplace with efficiency and confidence. By broadening your business skillset, this diploma will equip you to lead teams, manage payroll systems and coordinate staff.

To graduate with a diploma, students must first complete the Course in Introductory Skills to develop fundamental skills and knowledge before progressing to the diploma. On completion of the introductory skills units, students can choose to exit at this point and receive a certificate of attainment or to continue with their studies and undertake a further five or six units to graduate with the diploma.

The Course in Introductory Skills is essentially a pathway into the diploma and, once completed, you will be contacted by a Course Consultant to organise your enrolment into the diploma.

You are encouraged to complete the Course in Introductory Skills within five months for automatic entry into the diploma. You will have an additional 12 months from enrolment to complete the remaining units of the diploma.

This course is not available to international students.

What are the entry criteria?

To ensure you have the best chance of successfully completing your diploma, you may enter this course if you meet any of the below criteria.

  • Hold a Year 12 Certificate of Completion

OR

  • Completion of a Cert IV or above in any field

OR

  • Can demonstrate relevant work experience and meet the language, literacy and numeracy requirements to study at the diploma level.
