Swinburne Online 2018 Wrap-Up

It was a successful and eventful 2018 for all of us at Swinburne Online and for all of our students as well. Let’s look back at some of the milestones we achieved in 2018.

Brand new look

In August 2018, we launched our brand new Swinburne Online website, with a fresh new look and an ever-expanding range of content available to our students. Our new website provides students easy access to all of our available courses, study guides, support options and blogs to help guide the way though the online study journey.

New range of courses

What is online study without any courses? While Swinburne Online offers a wide range of courses, there is always room to add more and in 2018, we introduced our students to nine new courses to add to our ever-growing list, which included the Master of Cybersecurity Management, a unique course that teaches students about cybercrime and how to implement and manage security measures.

New Single Units

September saw the launch of Swinburne Online Single Units. Single Units offer the perfect opportunity to develop your skills and help you to take the next step in your career. Single Units are designed to be taken outside of a full degree and can be taken without requiring any pre-requisite study, providing flexibility for those who want to upskill while they work.

Student Alumni 2018

As 2018 wound down, some of our students prepared themselves for the moment they have been working towards since they started their course. Graduation signifies the achievement of all Swinburne Online students and is a reflection of all of the time, effort and hard work that goes into studying. Swinburne Online saw 1,294 students graduate and enter the ranks of the Swinburne alumni.

We’re looking forward to an even bigger year this year, so if you want to get 2019 off to a great start, you can apply right now to study at Swinburne Online.
